What is Zoom Teeth Whitening?
Zoom in-office teeth whitening is a professional whitening treatment designed to lighten the colour of your teeth using a combination of hydrogen peroxide whitening gel and a specially designed LED light. The gel and light work together to help achieve noticeable whitening results in a relatively short period of time.
During the treatment, the whitening gel is carefully applied to the teeth, which are then exposed to the Zoom LED light for three 15-minute sessions. An optional fourth session may be recommended for patients with more pronounced or darker staining.
For your comfort and protection throughout the procedure, a plastic retractor is placed in the mouth to help keep it open. The lips, gums, cheeks, and tongue are carefully covered to prevent contact with the whitening gel and light. Protective eyewear with an LED light filter is also provided.
Before and after treatment, the shade of the upper front teeth is assessed and recorded to help evaluate the whitening results. Once the treatment is complete, the retractor, whitening gel, and protective coverings are carefully removed.
